after a loooong night’s rest.. i finally hv the energy to post~ hehz.. been a real tiring sat, with the most part of the event going according as planned. of course with every other event, there are bound to be cock ups, be it significant or not. but a few were simply downright dumb.
reached the yacht club somewhere close to noon after getting PRATA fm “wooden road” only to find that the events planner wasnt even there yet.. the inflatables were inflated, de-flated, n inflated again - twice for who knows wad reason.. n there were no signages showing where the event was as promised.. as if that was not enough, the bus drivers cocked up.. the “unlimited” iced water was bout an hour late, n the biggest one to me.. the non-veg food was at the veg food section!!! cant imagine those ppl who were prob vegetarian their whole lives were tainted by the caterers who nvr spared a thought..
anyways, reprised my gl role yet again, this time with spanc n me leading a team, and me feeling the effects in my throat this very moment~ i think despite all the shortfalls from the events company, this probably made up for it … a little.. they had like 4 simple games but the highlight was of course human foosball (and no jer, i DID NOT tie a rope around myself, stuck to one small area n make myself look like an idiot going for a ball in a sport i never really enjoyed.. urm… sorry spanc). we did get 1st overall!!! woooohoooo n won ourselfves a mug each… -.-” n of course well earned bragging rights - bleah~
the hightlight of the day - lucky draws… once more it’s the “come n u will receive something” motion.. so i waited, n waited, n waited.. so passed over a hundred names with mine not in any of them. was soooooo ready to get the lcd tv or at least the wii.. was like mentally preparing a speach already ah… then my name.. 24th prize… wad a lucky number siah~ it won me a pen.. 
haha.. i did hv like 4 cans of becks to make it more worth it.. n there’s always next yr.. i’ll post this when i get the pics to go~
