RENOVATIO

the itinerary is out!! guess i am going after all. it was all a pretty rush rush thinggie. i only had confirmation on thursday morning.. (after a week of negotiations n a lot of email correspondences) so many things to pack!! i’ll be gone for 3 weeks!!

the really really “odd” thing is.. i’m staying at a hotel just an overhead bridge away from the company.. i think its gonna be funny to wake up, look out the window n see . . . WORK.. hahaha..

anyways, flying off this coming tuesday afternoon. the plan was to initially meet family for lunch then coffee with a fren? then fly off.. now the first half of the plan is screwed up.. family will only touch down an hour b4 i take off. hopefully can hv some brief meeting in the transit lounge or something.

will be stayin at crowne plaza in houston.. went to check out the map, the nearest “large” shopping centre is bout 4+ km away.. come to think of it, its like staying at m-hotel here, with the nearest shopping complex at marina..good thing they’re giving me a car, of an american make..i really hope i get a dodge.. maybe a dodge viper? hahaha~ at least i think they’re american..

forget nigeria (for now..), i’m going to houston! talks with the client are still in the way. according to the lead for the proj, we most definately need someone to go over. the client would most likely approve.. but as with all my prev events, it’s never firm until its confimed.

then its a record.. for me. now i’m gonna be on 3 projects at the same time~ my current one, the one sending me to u.s., and now since yest, another doing modification works on a prev project. most definately did not see the light of day on my way home yest. think its gonna be like that for some time.. on the brighter side of things, more work = more ot = more $$ and of course not forgetting more recognition (if i dun screw things up..)

almost everyone minus my bro n me are going to bali for over the wkend for yet another holiday.. thats the 3rd time in a year.. there’s gotta be something interesting to do there~ should be back in early july for the bali trip if it’s still on.. and if they dun ask me to stay longer.. hehz

ok just came back from conversation with boss.. time for the official decision… to nigeria or not to nigeria. if i go, AND i do get parents’ “blessing” might be flying off in june.. hmmmm~

well, life’s becoming more of a routine. n i absolutely hate routines. i need a change in lifestyle soon!! yeah, was having a chat with my uncle on sat, bout the jobs in the market n stuff.. turns out i’m not that bad off actually. couple of his nephews on his side arent that lucky with the work life.. then he was telling me bout the laywers. a fresh grad lawyer get around 4+k a month, but all the crap one has to put up with, preparing all the research n stuff, aint that great. still hv my plan to start a cafe though.. the prev proposal apparently din go though.. or rather there aint no news about it. i din know he had tried opening a food centre, in roughly the same area too.. din turn out too well though.. guess it’s a good thing i din get the bidding.. haha.. anyways, he’s pretty keen on a cafe idea too. hmmm.. may have found myself a potential biz partner..

sunday was a sinful day with my bros n me in the kitchen cookin up some creamy seafood pasta with grilled giant prawns n pumpkin soup for starters. finally took out the ice wine i asked my dad to get whilst comin back from his prev trip. will post the pics later when i actually remember..hehz

on other news, some clown lost control of his bm n slammed into the guard poles just outside where i work at.. pretty hot news yest.. haha… see… always use a handsfree earpiece when chatting on the mobile..

tried the “eat only when u’re hungry” thinggie yest.. came home, wasnt that hungry actually cos i actually went for lunch, so tot i’d just forgo dinner altogether. came home without the usual phone call for mum to cook my chicken.. mum asks y i didnt call her in advance, so of course i replied i wasnt hungry.. was in my room watchin tv n looking through some stuff.. then mum comes in several times to see if i was hungry. again n again i said i wasnt.. but just as show was finishing, she comes in yet again to tell me the chicken was steamed already. better go eat or it’ll be wasted…

haiz, well i guess mums are mums, always doing wad they thinks is best. think i’ll cook her something nice on mum’s day. i just hope she wont come in the kitchen to disturb my cooking.. wait, wad am i saying.. i know she will..

just realised we’ve ben doing this for quite long already. only know i find it a bit comical.. this is the typical morning conversation btwn char n me…

me: “hello”
char: “ummmm”
me: “hai hai”
char: “hmm hmm…”

hangs up… n i go down get my teh.. haha…

yest’s super hero movie wasnt that bad.. had a slow start though. guess they were explaining more into the life of peter. had a nice ending to the plot brought over frm parts 1 & 2. wad was comical though was when the phrase “i forgive you..” came out.. broke into laughter man~.. next movie.. pirates, the surfer dude & the penguin movie.. think this one looks more comical than the prev penguin movie..
