din do much over the weekend.. went for the company movie bean on sat. it’s good to see him on screen again after a long absence. swensons for dinner then cheese cake once more to chill out.. haha.. okok the next time we’ll go to airport starbucks.. it’s been a long time.

a new week dawns.. nothin much to look forward to next week though.. oh well, theres always the turtles.. hahaha.. that reminds me.. gotta be searchin for the pirates trailer..

i’m tired man.. wad am i doing at work. i should be home resting!! %@#$^*& the turnout yest was more than double that of last thurs. needlesss to say - whoohooo~ told u so.. anyways, saw some familar faces during yest’s talk. many many thanks to the ppl involved. some major cock ups required me to be stretched. couldn’t hv done it with them.

i must say the talks held yest, was much more organized compared to the prev one. even the md was more organized.. 2 questions really really got me laughing my lungs out. actually just one. but it’s a combo..

went down for the career talk on thurs.. the thing was, i reached there, did the set up .. tested out everything, got some bugs out of the system..

n then it started. n so my md was talking, n just when it was time to play the dammed promotional video, the bloody system goes .. shhhhhh…. “wad? isnt there supposed to be music??!?!?” dammmmmed system!! “*!@#%&*@#$%&#@” n everything went just fine during the testing. ahhhh! i just know things are gonna be much better at my alma mater. oh, some parting words, “dun worry u’re not gonna be fired…” *laughs* -_-”

haha, that aside, met cecilia while having refreshments n talking to the students.. such a coincidence, considering i din tell her to come. din get to meet jovan though.. she was having some test or somethin. by the time she was done, i was done too..ubfirtunately, i had to drop off the office ppl at the mrt my dept manager was supposed to be hitchin a ride from me so in the end, still couldnt meet..

so that was thurs.. fri was better i guess. the guys wanted to go for steamboat for dinner, i was like “AGAIN?? i just had it last week…” ended up having a settlement with dinner at suntec instead.. spanc wanted to get some royce chocs n yakun kaya.. for a gal back in china.. he’s gonna send it via mail.. i think thats so sweet.. no more details shall be posted here… haha..

the rest went back after dinner.. char n me decided to meet shan for a movie. caught music n lyrics! .. sorry jer, but u were sick..n i was dying to catch the movie.. it’s such a romantic comedy.. wouldnt expect anything less from hugh. all his movies i caught are awesome!! fell in love with the songs.. well actually one particular song, to lazy to place a sample though. hugh is still lookin good.. all the curves in the right places.. not bad for a mature adult..haha.. anyways.. the song they played at the end credits was cute. typical 80s music siah~ oooh..picked up a few dance moves from the show too~ haha. if u’re nice i’ll show u some ;P

well, mum n dad r officially overseas for the most part of this week. enjoying themselves at bali again. that means - i get to use the kitchen without someone watching over!!! tried cooking up some pancetta spaghetti today..

results were.. urm .. promissing. just need more pasta.. cooked too little spaghetti this time.. hehz.. tues! gonna be trying seafood spaghetti with a side of baked prawns in cream n chese sauce.. uncle’s fren came back fishing from msia couple weeks back.. sounds like good use of the giant prawns.. hahaha..

ya, watched devil wears prada just now. really really good movie.. when u’re bored n wan to be entertained.. anne looks good in any movie she’s in.. haha.. other things happening the past week, well i’m the new sports club member.. ktv lead n special projects co lead for now.. still fighting for them to implement kick boxing or boxercise. or at least get back my aerobics..

finally got to play mj with the usual kaki’s after a loong break. i got to use the black tiles!~ haha.. of course b4 every mj game, there has to be good food.

was at bugis shopping.. well wanted to buy somethings but totally forgot after exploring . haha.. anyways, the steamboat wasnt really that good, but wasnt really that bad either. someone was blushing.. i wont post the photos this time… ya, and cant wait to get my royce chocs tmr~

EARTHQUAKE!!

felt my first tremor ever today. was in front of com when chair started to shake. initially tot it was someone fooling around.. but no one there. the ground subsequently started shaking as if someone really really heavy was jumping around in the office. then finally came the dizziness..

heard a few buildings were evacuated.. oh, np also.. just got a call from mum, shen can feel it back home too!! haha.. sad that i’m still in the office though. a colleague’s fren is now at home or on the way rather..

guess time really flies when u’re havin fun. seems like yest when ks just arrived home. going for late night coffee n prata just after landing.. then just today, sent him off to the airport again.. always sad to see a fren off. this time for yet another undefined period overseas work posting. makes me wonder if i will be missed when i get my overseas posting..

friday was spent at vivo and marina south. had to try this for dinner..

hehz. u know me, always game for trying something new. only had 2 of those while everyone stuck with the usual don n udon meals. of course 2 handfuls of rice aint enough..

n the cool thing bout the place, they had 3 different salts..well 4 if u count the normal one. plum salt, chilli salt n green tea salt..

and they all taste pretty much salty..hahaha.. with a tint of their respective flavoured tastes. after dinner was shopping around vivo. stopped by the chocolat factory n got myself 2 tubes of chocolate. as usual “the rest”spent another whopping amount on clothes n bags..

then it was down to marina south to chill out..have some drinks.. n play rummy-o..haha.. some game char bought from toys r us after playing it in cameron. it’s kindda differently played from jim rummy, what i initially thought. gotta do some thinking n rearranging of the tiles on the table to sucessfully win the game. but it’s night, n i just finished work.. to hell with the thinking..

some things u wish u never notice, but then again.. i just couldnt help it! u know those adverts some shopping centres out on the walls of the urinal.. well, was peeing at the urinal, the same one i usually use.. and it’s still there!!! it was there since last week. possibly the week before. it’s not that i want to look, it’s just conviently at eye level. it’s … THE CURLY HAIR!! how it ended up on the wall, i dunno… but even with the daily washing of the toilets in the morning, IT’S STILL THERE!!!

argghhh…. n the toilet’s just renovated couple of months back. someone should get the hose n water it down or something. n by someone i dun mean me.. -_-” i’m in office attire dammit..
