oh.. my buddy won the MVP award at work. it’s some award given to outstanding employees. hopefully one day i can get that too .. hehz.. apparently there’s some money included in the prize so he got us some doughnuts.. this one was gooood.. had some jam rolled up into mini balls.

ah, then today, (although it’s not “everybody’s bday” day) family decided to hv abalone, pamelo n salmon yusheng.. whoooo~ shiooook

sat was spent with a lazy morning watching tv n anime. then came afternoon, n the duty of any good son, to send mum to church.. haha.. ya, so it was off to novena n ks’s place after that. wanted to get something as a house warming prezzie.. soooo in a dilemma. din know wad to get kel at first, but then the thought of a water feature came to mind. n so it was. carrying up the water feature to his place was urm.. UN-glam though.. reached his door with beads of sweat all over. it’s a good thing kel wasnt there, chance for me to cool down whahaha~

place looks good, esp with the lazy sofa.. seems everyone likes the mordern interior design nowadays. i still pref some wood in my furniture. couldnt find the dining table though. was thinking maybe its doubles as the mj table?

talking bout mj, the new black mj tiles look cool man.. so sleek.. haha.. alas~ could only settle for playing with the small mj set.. no chance to feel the big black tiles.. anyways, played mj with kel’s frens.. i threw 4 winning tiles in a row.. bad feng sui for me man~ heng nvr play money ah.

then came dinner, food was not bad actually. being the second buffet style i had during the cny, kindda wondering if the yam basket was a chinese thing.. cos i been to many, but only the recent 2 have the yam basket.. after that was daiti with another of his frens..haven seen her in a long time.. scientist siah~ oh, n i swear the rattan seat has lots of luck.. haha..

then met up with one of ks n one of his fren this morning for kway chap breakfast at thompson road.. she quite a cheery person..then she’s working at the airport..she din come walking with us a lower pierce though.. it was a wonderful trail.. somewhere to go to just relax n wind down.. dunno when i’ll actually get to do it again with ks scheduled to go back soon.. hmmm…

was at the loading bay having a breather at work.. then i got to see the discovery channel live in action..

cant see it clearly here, but it’s 2 birds. sparrows rather, doing the … u know.. then i was like “oooooh, that’s how they do it~” haha. pretty troublesome though. gotta be flapping to keep balance n stuff. see..birds go from behind too.. whahahaha~

n so the chinese new year is here. gong xi fa cai everyone. another long deserved break. the next one to look forward to, good friday.. hehz.

v day came with the ks coming back for a short break. got some cute stuff from some frens though.

whoohoo~ i must confess..there ain’t no chocs anymore.. whahahaha~

then was cny eve.. went down to drop off dad at work before taking a drive down towards changi.. just had this urge to walk down changi beach.. watch the planes land n all.. oh how i was shocked when i actually arrived there.. u could see tents everywhere.. the carpark was full.. n the beach overflowing with ppl. guess that’s one place to go i can strike off my list.. took a big detour n headed back to the office.. that was the first time i stayed till 7+ in the morning. usually it’s till bout 5.. n to think while we were making our way to the car for a drive back home, ppl r still coming down to get their orange plants.. wad the hell!!?! i suppose some ppl will do anything for a bargain. that’s REALLY last min shopping man..

managed to catch bout 4 hours sleep b4 heading down to aunts place for the gathering.. lost myself some money from mahjong.. caught up with “long time no see” family members.. got to play with the cute doggies!!

second day was spent at home playing mahjong once again~ haha.. winning money!! more more!! then the usual lo hei n stuff.. maypics .. but lazy to post..

third day came .. with a couple of good frens coming over for a visit..(so when u guys inviting me to ur place huh huh??).. dinner with some “ppl” n coffee at starbucks.. dinner was not bad lah..

then today was spent talking bout maple story at work.. there ain’t nothing to do yet.. this is wad happens when u’re ahead of schedule.. =P

oooh oooh~ met ma n flo for dinner.. kampong chicken rice.. shiok man~

like any other day coming home from work, i got out the lift, walked to the gate, took out the keys, n reached for the door handle, but today as i was unlocking the gate something small n hairy slowly inched into my view. n there was the cutest animal.. awwwww~

so cute!!~ she was like cautiously inching forward to greet me as i walked in..so petite.. so quiet..so shy~ turns out my bro’s keeping the dog for a friend for now.. n there i was thinking mum actually agreed having a dog.. wad a pleasent way to end the day..

and all taken with my trusty hp. often wonder wad it’s like.. to live just bothering about collecting food, to hibernte when there’s nothing to do, to mate during mating season, to have a mind set on only one thing - survival.. not to dwell on companionship.. i guess sometimes, when realization that we are absoultely powerless to everything that is happening all around.. n no matter wad we do, it boils down to the other party to make the decisive choice.. it kindda sucks when u can figure out the ending n u know it’s not in ur favour..

maybe one fine day down the wad seems to be a looooong never ending bumpy road ahead, i’ll sit back, take a look at this n hopefully hv a good laugh.. but for now, this journey suX~

i’m all worn out from the 2 days at nus. wad was just supposed to be a 1 hr set up of the booth on thurs became a day long of talking.. n talking.. n talking. colleague had some dateline to meet so she couldnt make it, i was the replacement. it’s a good thing i didnt hv much to do at work (for the moment).

that was breakfast at the canteen by the pool. the prev mixed rice stall is no more.. it’s now some chinese establishment. it was a unique experience i must say.. look like prata, not prata.. taste like man tou, not man tou … dunno lah .. it’s unique!

some students said i look “experienced” after giving the speach n all.. OMG! i need to reverse time. haiz … old. + when the senior management start toking bout how young the undergrads look.. i was thinking - Wah.. confirm liaoz… i DEFINATELY need to reverse time.. awww.. i look old… CRAP~

then it was a “let off steam” session at cineleisure. KTV neh!~ a long sessino of singing n crapping on a cheap thurs night! whahaha~

saw ceci on the second day. she din even notice me until i forced a brochure on to her.. hahaha.. then it was freebies collection.. unfortunately, by the time i got free to move around, the booths were packing up/packed up.. still got freebies from first day though … hehe

then it was to seoul garden for dinner to celebrate end of career fair n les’s bday.. more pics in char’s cam … will post another day ba… notice anything wrong with the pic above? i dun wear my watch on the right! its a mirror image.. cool samsung cam phone function .. hahaha~

n, i hv clothes for cny~ after shopping at taka just now, i now hv 1 x tommy jeans, 1 x timberland jeans n 2 x harley shirt, with one more in mind..hehz (maybe next week then get ba.. its a cool long sleeve with design on the back!!)

my workstation is now voted one of the best looking in the office.. whahahaha~ well, at least thats wad proj controls say.. think i’m getting used to the new place. was considering a screen shield from 3m, but.. if it’s above 20 then forget it..

ah, it’s been half a year since i started work. time really flies man. never really sat down n thought about it till today. today be “reflection” day..

been shopping today, think i’ll go again either on mon or wed. wanna be getting new tommy jeans~ yay CNY.. wad a great excuse to get new clothes. *grinZ* still cant find a matching timberland card holder for the rest of my cards - dun wanna be spoilling this one as well..hehz.. n then, a decent shirt for CNY that i can also wear to work on casual days.

looking ahead, career fair at nus next week! should be heading down on fri afternoon n thurs morn if need be. from the turnout at the ntu one, i think most prob. unless management thinks otherwise i guess. oh, n a new addition to my plants at my workstation. i’ll post the pics tmr.
