on the one hand, i do want to know more, on the other, i just wanna carry on and stay in my comfort zone..just be blinded and happy..maybe i should just give up.. ha..wad a joke..guess i will end up being single after all..
suprise suprise.. was at vivo on wed with kel n jer to watch the prestige.. was a nice show actually..with a little twist. the ironic thing, it was just in the afternoon when colleague told me the storyline. soooo like ks.. hahaha.. anyways, back to the suprise, after having sucky dinner at food court, we found this…
last time we had this was in hk with ks. they ran out of the white chocolate drink though. only managed a dark chocolate and milk chocolate drink. 8 bucks for pleasure. whahaha~
played 2 rounds of mj yest..AFTER ktv with office ppl.. AFTER aerobics (which was a killer.. half hour of abdominals!!) i was sooo pooped after mj. hehz~ the 2nd round was a last min decision actually. so we ordered mac delivery for the first time.. first time for me at least. went through a hell of a lot of trouble to get the damned tel no. for mac delivery.. so we finished at 5+? and i went 24 hours without sleep. hahaha.. managed to sleep bout 6.30 this morning.
oh, wrote an article for the newsletter on friday.. its sound a bit crappy but hey, it’s my first article.. whether or not it’ll be published, i dunno.. ~click me~
hmm..seems the little graphic doesnt come out well on internet explorer.. the one in the office at least.
oh ya, bought an FHM for the today! first time siah~ all for the 2 shot glasses.. haha.. anyone wan the mag?
i soooo need to do something active.. this long wkend is coming to an end, n all i can remember is eating, eating n eating. arrrrggghhh~ the food’s good, the companys’ better.. but i can do without the calories.. maybe i should just agree to tea or coffee or somethin. 3 guilty meals over 2 days.
1st guilty meal~ merchant court hotel, peranakan buffet with the office ppl yest..supposed to meet at 12 sharp, reached there at 1205..there was only 4 ppl there inculding me. better than ****** (name shall be censored..whahaha), 12 then wake up … wah piangZ~ nothing fantastic bout the buffet, but everyone seemed to be excited over the chocolate fountain..

nvr knew clarke quay changed so much. just couldnt resist taking a panorama. look at the huge umbrellas. so cute… awwww
went to vivo city after lunch to do some shopping. i wan whining bout my lack of shirts again. whahaha~ ah yes, vivo’s huge.. i only been to 1 part i think, then i had to go join another group for dinner. oh, been to tang’s, adidas, zara, some street wear shop i forgot the name.. many more to visit. but for those who drive, might wanna park at habour front n walk a bit, parking is “HOR-RI-GI-BLE” then ah .. just as i was leaving, i saw… timberland.. arrrghhh.. i need more time to explore vivo. sooo going back there again.
2nd guilty meal~
geylang patah, jb, msia.. the bride n groom gathered the “brothers” n “sisters” for a meal.. i did catch drift of an underlying motive though, as mentioned in my prev post if i remember correctly.. anyways~ had dinner at 2 places. yes, 2. the first place seemed to hv run out of everything~ no kangkong, no potato leaves, no catfish, i must say their oat prawns was good though. so headed on to the second place for urm.. satisfaction. haha.. no pics for this event though. the usual happened, as the “designated” driver, sent everyone home.. just as i was at my place the groom called.. his exact words . . .
“jo, wad did u do ah? must teach me leh.”
i was like “huh? do wad?”
“hit the jackpot leh, even don says u r good leh.. ”
the thing is, i din even do anything.. ok lah .. maybe joked a bit but that was more of a group entertainment thinggie. so after dropped her off, the bride apparently got an sms after that, n the groom is following up. i tried not attracting so much attention. haiz, i’m still formulating something. hope i dun devestate her. getting hurt is not a good feeling. i know it..

just back from my dad’s fren’s place.. just as they come over for christmas celebrations, we go over for hari raya celebrations.. close family frens i must say.. applies to the older generation at least.. just a glimpse of wad’s for lunch..
i liked this the best.. roti jalah.. very versatile dish.. add curry, it becomes a main course, add kaya (the pic below this..), it becomes a wonderful dessert..
always look forward to this annually.. hehz.. then there’s the home made kaya. tastes nothing like those on the shelves of supermarket stores.

anyways, was lazin around today. many, an afternoon nap. maybe i should do something active tmr? oh, for those who din know, tmr is my off in lieu~ yay~ many things planned, lunchin with some office ppl in the afternoon, then havin dinner with the rest of the “brothers” and “sisters” from the wedding last week. found out there was a hidden agenda to the dinner, now i’m just gonna feel akward. but after much consultation, think i’ll just go n act normally.

oh ya, anyone for bangkok cum beach (phuket or pataya for now) in nov? the gals planning overseas trip.. leaving on 16th, comin back on 22nd nov. something like that. guess its still negotiable..hahaha.. ks, how? wanna go anot? take leave earlier leh..it’s 3 gals n a guy (me)..i’m outnumbered dammit! was thinkin of bangkok with them first then bring them to beach meet u there if u cant make it earlier..so far they’re ok with the tentative plan..lemmie know ya. anybody else wanna go? gimmie a msg..

1) i actually hv a card holder built-in on my glove compartment after over 3 years of driving skylet.. (2 more weeks to confirmation..then i can get my name card made..whahahaha~)

gonna be on course for the next 2 days, enrolled in some presentation dynamics course. i think it’s suppose to improve my presentations or something, but i’m so sucessful in presentations.. haha..just go there to waste time, hmmmm..who knows, i might pick up a pointer or 2. the bad thing bout going on course - i had to rush work today..haiz..i’m tired.. REALLY REALLY lookin forward to the off in lieu on mon n the public holiday on tue.. whoohooo~
Hi everyone~ this is me blogging from the office.. haha.. lame i know~ i’m bored..it’s lunch n i’m stuck in the office. urm ..because i dun go for lunch also lah..usually..ok at least 3 out of 5 days now =P
still thinkin of the departed show last night. i still think it was draggie~ arse was like aching from sitting down so long. i think i should watch the chinese version. somehow i dun see how infernal affairs became a hit watching the hollywood version. the ending was funny and amusing if that was the message they wanted us to bring home..
oh ya.. went to pick up dear skylet yest b4 den’s bday dinner at hanabi..took another photo of skylet sleeping over at furama. i’ll post it later in the evening.
dinner wasnt that bad. realised i cant eat that much anymore. but then, maybe it’s because i had lunch..oops
had this wierd weird dream last night.. actually not really wierd weird.. but felt good in the morning .. woke up with a better understanding of some stuff.. n no its not a wet dream.. i understand that diff ppl hv diff ways to show “care” and concern for others.. i was just blinded/ignotant/insensitive/stubborn to notice? sorry for the way i acted..coffee?..and i’m gonna do wad ks is famous for now (in the blog at least…) “ask me if u wanna know about the dream.. ” whahahahaha~
ohoh… me bring new bag to work today..
wedding day~ one of my frens from ntu got married just now, n i was the “brother”. haha. met ken in the morning for the briefing, was supposed to be last week but it turns out, the virus that was attacking the school kids, he got it too.. saw his new place, 4 room flat in hougang. not bad, maybe should get some tips for my place in future from him (or his designer..hehz) ohoh i’ll post a pic of skylet all dressed up ..haha
did the normal duties in the morning, bring the tea here n there. kena sabo just to open the door for the bridegroom to enter the bride’s house (who the hell came up with that idea..) 4 items.
1) lime juice
2) milk with lots n lotsa sugar (here come the calories..)
3) bitter goud
4) banana with wasabi
then the talk of the town.. i’m the “tong zhi” or something like that..haha.. n the mc had to announce that in front of everybody on stage..i practically got advertised as the “virgin”..arrghh~ hmmm..still no takers though, -sobZ-
then came the “yum seng” .. silliy me tot since there was only one big “yum seng” , no need worry bout getting drunk..i was soooo wrong. so participated in a few of the games (as requested by groom to keep the mood) oh got myself a keychain.. those glass block thinggie use laser to to create some image inside one.. the only down side, it says “i love you” with 2 hearts in it -_-”
after the games came the photo taking.. thats when the killer drinking started.. 17 tables.. 3 tables sabo, 1 his own frens.. then the other 2 after knowing that i’m the bloody brother, the ntu ppl.. so much for “frens”..haha.. there goes my driving home.. i ended up downing glass upon glass of xo n coke or xo n 7up.. they couldnt just give the beer could they.. wanna take photo, must drink.. couple wanna leave the function room, also must drink (note: nvr put ppl who u know is gonna sabo next to door).. then wan to leave, also must drink .. or else the table will nvr leave the function room..
after all was said n done, dragged the groom up to his room, he was blabbering dunno wad rubbish.. then i ko-ed on the couch.. the thing is .. wasnt feeling bad from the drinking.. was feelin bad from the fact that there was no one to send me home..turned out that the brother’s room was only until 8.. the one i tot would come pick me didnt..but i’m sure he has his reasons..naive of me though..anyways, no harm done, one of the brothers, after his “sending” duties, came back to send me home..urm, maybe drag me home.. haha even though he was practically at his doorstep when he got the call.. hehz…paiseh man, thanks many many

after much anticipation, whooohoooo~ i hv my new…
…sling bag! whahahaha~ went for dinner with jer n den just now, crystal jade (the dim sum one) at taka. so was walking around for awhile.. n i found it! many secret compartments it has..looks simple on the outside, yet sophisticated on the inside. size is ok, material is good, but most importantly, i think it looks better on me than a crumpler..now i need to get shirts. need to get my tag repaired too..haiz..ok, i hope these “spending sessions” dun become a habbit. hehz, gonna be “sas-sis-fied” (i’m sorry, i just had to use the word) for the wkend though..
