met xiao ma for lunch at the church cafe today.. picked me up from work..so he was parking the car n i was looking for coupons, guess wad i found in the glove compartment??

vienna..restaurant..buffet restaurant..not so good buffet restaurant..will nvr go there ever again.. not that i ate much.. hehz. but the selection there wasnt magnificent. the only thing that was up to standard i think is the oyster baked with cheese n cream..
i tot this was a nice touch.. sort of give the soothing feeling ya..i’d need that feeling cos i was seated outide..without air con..arrggghh… nvr again..
the after dinner prog - KTV.. whoohoo.. after a long long period of slience, i got to sing again..hehz. one was missing though..n i dun mean the one in hk..
oh .. happy bday jer..
finally, we went to maxwell for lunch.. it faaarr.. n i ended up eating ngoh hiang.. i wanted chicken rice 
..damned crowd..how’d they get there earlier than me.. although the ngoh hiang was quite tasty actually.. today..i ate the whole thing.. whahaha..i just tot i’d have a full meal for once..its not always we go to maxwell for lunch ya know~
here it is..3 weeks down n my table is getting flooded..haha.. the main branch of the centre cacti has been declared..dead.. so did it shoo away all the bad luck that was due my way? hmmm…. some things i’ll nvr know..now all that’s left is urm..stem cuttings. hehz. putting my jacket to good use now..its covering my chair..haha..
yeah…my first dept meeting. got formally introduced to everyone again, just because 2 or 3 din know me, but then again, izzit so hard to miss me..hahaha i still maintain my stand that everyone there is very nice..very approachable..very “motherly” for some..
toked bout electrical stuff..upcoming projects and all..but the one thing that caught my attention..WE USED TO WORK 40 HRS A WEEK?? haha, and like the senior ppl was askin for more welfare for the whole dept..coool~ my first meeting and we’re toking about welfare..
anyways, i was the f&b ic for the meeting..thank goodness all the food arrived on time. had like chinese food and pizza delivered to the lobby, hmmm.. i think i should try subway for lunch one of these days.
like this mahjong thing, we seem to be getting better at it..today’s game was like fast..even hv time for supper after that..haha. this was the first, murtabak with TLC.. i must admit, nvr seen such effort put into the presentation (esp at a foodcentre)..

golf, if u cant play it, downsize.. mini golf! well the “long awaited” event is here. wad wonderful luck, i paired with the engineering manager..whos like the second biggest person at the event. i guess the only consolation is that i’m not paired with the director. wad am i gonna say..
throughout the whole game, we nvr toked much except on how to negotiate the hole. occasionally, there’s the “aww..it’s ok, try to get it in the next shot” encouragement. ah wellz. took some photos but think i shouldnt post them. i dun hv one showing me alone. theres the enggr-ing managers in every photo.. anyways, this is where we went.. mee siam day… whoohoo~ n my first paid holiday. whhahaha~ i’m loving it. so the usual relatives came over for some mee siam. family gathering n lots of eating. how am i ever gonna get slim? i dunno.. then ask kel to come over, say he dun wan..ask jer, say no like mee siam..ask den? dun wan .. more meesiam for me i guess..
oh oh ..saw my niece for the first time today. so cute.. awwww.. gabrielle anna lau something something. thats like a super long name. then my ah lian aunt n i was toking bout the origins of anna. a few years back when my cousin was urm, expected, my uncle was actually thinking of naming her ANNA..(pronunced AHH-NA) from the bonia advertisement running on tv.. haha.

oh yeah, here my uncle’s dogs..princess n mei mei … aint they cute too… but of course ANNA is better.. hehe
still not getting used to the amt of sleep yet. think i need more time to adjust the sleeping habbits. been sleeping at 3 every day b4 getting the job, cant seem to fall asleep early nowadays..
1 week of training. that how long it takes to master a software? well, 3 actually. i dunno. kindda got this nostalgic feeling of studying back in uni again. in a computer lab, yes theres actually a computer lab, doing up a software. learning theory as well as practical. haha. good thing there’s no exam or anything. instructor was kaki lang (own ppl). wonder if i ever see myself doing that in future.. haha..
today is “get to know each other” session..the rest of the newbies brought us for some food n chat session during lunch. settled on a place at temasek towers servign some thai food. i can sum it up in one word… *yucks* its not edible … the fri special that i ordered of course. me being me, always adventerous.. must try something new. at times it turns out great. this time is not one of them.
dunno wad i was eating man. the rice had some thinggies on top which i deduce to be ‘hei bi’, then theres this saucy think urm .. object on the top left which i cant tell if it’s meat or veg. n to top everything off, had some lemon grass drink which totally changes ur taste buds for the worst.. lucky for the thai chilli.

then it was “meet jer for dinner” after work. had ikea food.. sweedish meat balls… mmmmmm.. mouth watering. then after that was a go out with the guys session. thus i’m bloggin this late. who cares..my first wkend off from work..
