well, its official. i will now be using ALL of the 7-segment displays in my car. whahaha~ thank goodness there was a traffic light junction at the turning to ntu, if not i wouldnt hv been able to capture this memorious occasion.. whahaha~ oh..qw was utterly dumbfounded.. haha.. i think he’s wonderin how he ever met me.. haha..

tue..after kel’s second paper. really hv to applaude him. has back to back papers from mon thru wed n he still has time to spare from studying. r all jc kias so confident? hmm.. could econs really be that easy? i would prob kill myself or taking engineering if it is. i can still recall when i first started on the journey to the dark side aka engineering. it was a pretty fast decision though. i wouldnt says its mum’s fault for convincing me to take engg, its mine for deciding..always wanted to take biz studies though. was (n still is i guess..) keen on an exec job(as in a shirt n tie job) rather than an engg job. well, one thing led to another n i find myself doing engg in uni. i will most definately work for my exec position. maybe after 5 years in fieldwork, i might hv a change to jump to office work..still counts right? .. haha..hopefully get an MBA along the way. i guess a piece of paper with the word “business” in it will do..for now..

anyways, met up with kel after his morning paper on tue. went to wheellock to admit his laptop to laptop hospital. he finally got tired of the dead pixels on his MAC.. yes the all powerful mac..hahaha..the phrase from russell peters comes to mind now..”hey jer, lets go buy coffee n laugh at this for half an hour or so.. MAC… harharhar” ya..so we were thinking of where to eat.. ended up going to parkway for swensons. DO NOT TRY THEIR FUSION!! I.E. THIS STUFF~

mine..the steak with curry..mango curry. n rice??.. who eats steak with rice.. i distinctly remember telling kel “dun spoil my taste for swensons” i dunno how i ended up order this. face it, mango + curry, DO NOT GO WELL TOGETHER. i’ll hv to say, kel’s spicy fish tastes much better than this..

the main thing is, neither kel nor me were full after the meal, thank goodness for the icecream~

luv the biscuits that came with the peppermint ice cream.. mine was the chocolate cinnamon one. it has bananas inside. aww, always a good combi. the small biscuits inside were also fantastic. we were thinkin that they could hv gotten them from marks n spencer..just a short walk away.. haha..

ok its final. we’re going for a graduation trip..YAY~. hk from 12th - 20th, taipei from 20th - 29th.. went to peoples park in the morning to finalize the plans. kel n dennis (gym fren) finally met. i think the bloopers friday spilled over to saturday. both dennis n me parked in the WRONG peoples park bldg. we parked at centre whilst the agency was located in complex. the sales girl who attended to us was comical.. think she’s a newbie.. she’s young n sorta has that crooked teeth thinggie.. forgot wads it called in chinese.. something bout the beauty of the flaws.. but she’s super young. i figure somewhere around poly age. not my type anyways..

casurina.. yeah, its been a hell of a long time since kel n i went to casurina for murtabak. since a certain someone left for hk i think. had the long missed chicken cheese murtabak for dinner. wee~ nvr realised u missed something until u had a taste of it again. haha. the egg cheese masala wasnt that great though. kept biting the spices. HATE THAT.. y cant they remove it after prep the food anyways. so was eating halfway when xiao ma called to join us. funny thing was, they ordered a chicken cheese murtabak also. they ordered small while we orderd medium. its kindda like the SAME size!! … wads up with that..

ah wellz..the drink wasnt bad though..

took a drive down to changi village hotel for a drink at the lounge after that. the view from the roof was fantastic.. 3 pools. oh ya..the pool was convinently located between the walkway n the egde of the building. was utterly lost for words when kel took of his slippers, pulled up his berms , climbed into the pool (seat of the jacuzzi), n walked to the edge for a better view.. haha. wad would life be without him..

friday, 21st may.. just like any other odinary friday. but no..it was deemed to be blooper friday..was out with a couple of frens, namely kel n fren x. dennis wanted to remain anonymous.. so we were headin out for coffe at terminal 1. I SERIOUSLY TOT I REMEMBERED COFFEE CLUB EXPRESS WAS THERE LAH.. so back to story, i was parking car at lot when kel exclaimed “SL55~” i din know wad he was tokin bout at first then dennis fren x replied no lah 1414. kel was like -_-” and a bit of ????. here’s y..

that moment was priceless.. fren x was like sooo genuine in his reply.

n yes..there’s no coffee club express in terminal 1. went off to terminal 2 for pacific coffee. then there was this car in front of us travelling so blooDy slowly up the ramps as if not too sure where to park. then kel was thinkin aloud - “so slow wad he doin..” n i went like “aiyah .. not everybody come here as often as us” n as soon as i said that i realised i was on the 2M parking level (ie 1 level above the usual spot) . i regretted replying to kel.. now he’s like nvr letting me forget that moment.. anyways.. pacific coffee was not a bad change compared to starbucks. wouldnt mind going there again. the only problem i think we might face is the seating. its freakin small. the seating area i mean.

oh..was out having dinner with kel n fren x b4 changi airport. wakatu izzit? kindda forgot the name.. anyways i mentioned it b4 in an earlier post. kels curry cheese udon wasnt bad actually. i would say its an innovative fusion of cultures. although i still pref the curry ramen. hehz.

it’s not official yet..but somebody’s turning 24. i wont say who. but somebody.. yeah~ n somebody had it at Hai Tien Lo..nvr heard of it..but its good~ oh hell yeah. the view is awsome!~! the food is great (except for the peanut thinggie) n most of all the company (..short of 1 though)..

most definately a day of “firsts” for me. 1st “first”- Hai Tien Lo. sorta reminds me of taipei 101.. only shorter..ok..way shorter..well..its round.. the view at least..

had trouble finding the toilet..kel was saying just walk around, go into any of the doors in white, but enjoy the view along the way ..so i walked.. n walked. by the time i decided to go into one of the doors, was back at the entrance in view of everyone (so.. not to siah sway myself, i went to get some of the peanut thinggie.. hehz .. sux)

..wad..u think the restaurant so rich meh. give 2 soups with shark’s fins..whahahaha~ anyways, my 2nd “firsts”..$68 soup.. i ate 2. WooT~ well..den din want it..everyone else seemed too shy..kel was bent on me having the soup..wad the heck..(i hope it improves one’s intellect..exams are here~ plus i had double the serving)

liked the cod fish..i think that was prob the best dish in my books at least. the prawn with wasabi mayo would most definately come in second. as for the peanut thinggie..dunno wads its called in chinese (..seems theres a chinese name for everything) i’d pref the $2 one in kopitiam..no offence

the last week of lectures b4 exams..the last week for me to demonstrate the pain n torture i hv to go thru every lect..kudos to gary for speaking up on the poor english by lectrs..should consider sending them to st. pat’s huh…lol..oh the bighter side..let’s play a game..

guess the number of “kay”s the “guest speaker aka lecturer” (who shall not be named) says in 1 minute..

i counted (spoilers)SIXTEEN..(/spoilers) thats only 1 min…can u imagine wad i hv to go thru..trying not to laugh and crack wise ass jokes everytime..it’s no wonder i hv white hair..oh..incidently..the preceeding lectr had a habbit of saying not laughing “hahahaa” in about the same frequency as this one..that should give everyone a rough idea of how stressful the module is..lolZ~

dinner @ dave’s on sunday

who says u gotta eat classy food only at classy restaurant..subject for the day, mervin’s bday..started the day with a bit of studying (the politically correct answer) then cake hunting..wee..till that very day, i din know crystal jade was selling cakes..but..we got a swensons one instead..cookies n cream..yay~..

the 6 course meal..
first item..cream of corn soup with some bacon (but not really bacon..taste like some smoked thin strip of pork..well i forgot the actual name for it)..that was innovative..kudos..the sweet taste of hot cream of corn mixed with the salted stiprs of crispy meat..magnifico..sorry guys..no photo..

second item..swordfish with melon and a side of dennis’s(not the one we know) special salad with
sesame, almonds, cherry tomatoes n fried onions..the main veg being basil..

third item..some thinly sliced fried fist in some sweet sauce to be ate with a mayo n fish roe mix.. simply fantastic in between treat..once more..no photo .. haha

forth item..seng buay(sour plum)sherbert..hmm..is that how u spell it?..ah wellz. had some (new flavour)’unique’ dish to chill off before the main dish..

fifth item..the showstoppa…
pasta with crab meat..

yes…it taste so good..u dun need a cream based sauce or tomato based rubbish..the good news..pasta has less carbs than rice. -Dr Dennis..

finally..the ICE CREAM CAKE..mmmmmm
had a bit of dry ice that came with the cake..so urm..knowing ur fren ahGeow..the whole table was atmosphered (contributed by 3 glasses of dry ice..hehz..)

as for the rest of the week.. well..

law lect..
my classmate, ken..he has nice o2 mini.. often my classmate qw n me will record discussion question from law lect on k750i for “ease of mind” since we may not be able to copy down everything he says in time..that day, fren ken joined the club..no prob..only thing was, after 10min of recording, his phone started to playback..LOUDLY..we were conviniently located in the middle of the lect hall where everyone..n i mean EVERYONE could hear the recording..naturally the lectr stopped..then he stood there flabbergasted for like 3 seconds..then he looked all round the lect hall and poped the question..”….wait.. is that my voice?.. that’s my voice right? .. is somebody recording this lect? .. my materials are copyrighted u know..u cant use them outside.. then being a law lectr, he talked bout copyrighted materials.. the whole lect hall bursted out laughing n looking at my classmate, ken…qw was trying ever do diligently trying to hide himself with his hands..that moment…priceless

well..the meat does come in a loaf..but most of all… it suxz…if it wasnt for kel’s lamb chops, i would be hunting for a burger or somethin… DUN TRY IT…
